In a move reflecting a commitment to enhancing knowledge and connecting it to societal realities, Engineer Ahmed Abdullah Al-Quraiti—owner and founder of the agricultural city on the Aden/Abyan road—received a copy of a study entitled “The Interrelationships of Yemeni Migration.” This presentation came within the framework of positive communication between intellectuals and investment entities, aiming to raise awareness about national issues and the repercussions of migration on society, the economy, and human relations. The agricultural city project is one of the largest residential and investment projects in the Abyan and Aden governorates, making the acquisition of a scholarly study by its institutional base a significant step, especially given the intersection of migration with development, the associated shifts in urban and investment needs, and the role of expatriates in supporting the national economy and maintaining ties with their homeland.

The copy was presented to Engineer Al-Quraiti by: Dr. Amr Ma’dikarib Al-Hamdani, Member of the Shura Council and Member of the Publication Committee. Professor Al-Azzi Al-Salawi, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs and Member of the Publication Committee. During the handover, the importance of such studies in providing a well-documented analysis of the impacts of Yemeni migration and its reciprocal effects between Yemen and the diaspora was emphasized.
